Hello there! I’m Brooke, owner of Urban Scrapbooker. We’ve been serving the Edmonds, WA, community since 2007, originally opening as a scrapbooking store that has evolved over the years to meet a wider variety of creative needs.
I’ve been scrapbooking since I was 19 years old. After graduating from UW, I went on to work at AOL as a software engineer. But after nearly six years, I decided it just wasn’t my thing. On a road trip with my dad, Scrappy, he imparted the advice the spurred me into action: “You’ve wanted to open a scrapbook store since you were 19. Why not do that?” Needless to say, Urban Scrapbooker was established shortly thereafter.
My goal with Urban Scrapbooker is to keep paper crafting relevant in today’s ever evolving world, while providing top of the line merchandise, innovative crafting techniques, and enjoyable classes. We’re always trying out new projects, discovering cutting-edge companies with unique products, recycling old paper items, and reinventing scrapbooking and crafting methods.
To us, customers aren’t just customers. They’re friends, and sometimes business partners too, often helping to shape the inventory of products we offer here at the store. With an inviting atmosphere that encourages learning, sharing, socializing, and simply having fun (please feel free to sing along to the music playing…we always do), Urban Scrapbooker is a friendly gathering place where crafting is always cool!
Looking forward to your visit…
